Our practice is all about preparing for the changing season as we journey into autumn. Start in meditation, slow opening poses such as Butterfly, moving into Sun Salutations… then searching for stability into standing Hand to Toe pose, then moving to a strengthening Side Plank into a twisty Ardha Matsyendrasana – Half Lord of the Fishes, into holding High Planks. Moving into Cow Face pose improves posture and counteracts effects of prolonged sitting, by stretching your shoulders, buttocks and fronts of thighs. Closing into Supine Butterfly, feel ready to take on whatever arises as we move into a new season.
