Family yoga is practising yoga with your family. It is the perfect way to make time and connect with each other, instilling life skills that will enable you and your family to be centred and face life’s obstacles together.
Yoga practice is physically, mentally and emotionally beneficial for all ages. Classes are tailored and vary according to those that attend. For example, if predominantly younger children, then there will be a story theme that will be told along with the postures that both children and adults can enjoy!
Classes will be structured in a family friendly way with an introduction and then a focus on breathing to get everyone calm, relaxed and centred. This will be followed by posture (asana) demonstration and practise, working with the breath, all taught using age appropriate language. Working individually, with partners and in groups each session will encourage a real connected experience.
Classes conclude with a closing sequence and relaxation providing a true yoga union of health and wellbeing.
